Upcoming Fundraisers & Ways to Support Our Families |
Dear Friends, As we move through February, we want to take a moment to thank you for the continued love and support you show the Babygirl Foundation. Because of you, we are able to bring comfort, connection, and practical support to families during some of their most difficult days.
Community Night Success A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for Community Night with the Maine Mariners! It was such a fun and meaningful evening. Your support allows us to continue funding our Parent’s Closet and Book Nook programs, as well as our BBCH Family Room meals and snacks — directly impacting families in the PICU, NICU, ED, and Pediatric Palliative Care Clinic. 
Book Nook Spotlight Our Book Nook continues to bring moments of calm and connection into hospital rooms. Each book shared between a caregiver and child offers comfort, love, and a small sense of normalcy during long and emotional hospital stays. We are especially excited to share that a new Book Nook in the Palliative Care Clinic will be coming very soon. This expansion will allow us to reach even more families with the gift of stories and connections. We are always grateful for book donations and community partners who help keep our shelves stocked. 
Upcoming Fundraiser: Tattoo Wood Cookie Babygirl Fundraiser In collaboration with Common Roots Studio Sunday, March 1, 2026 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM EST Portland Pie Company, Biddeford, ME Join us for a fun, all-ages Family Art Day to benefit two incredible projects!
Nick will kick things off promptly at 2 PM with a fun drawing exercise before guiding participants through creating their own “Tattoo Wood Cookie.” Using tracing techniques and paint markers, you’ll create a one-of-a-kind piece of art — no experience required! Each finished piece will include hanging hardware, ready to display at home.  Ticket price includes: • All supplies • Direct instruction • A raffle ticket for prizes We hope to see you there!
Save the Date 7th Annual Babygirl Foundation Fundraiser Kennebunkport Conservation Trust Sunday, September 27, 2026 1-5pm More details will be shared soon. We cannot wait to gather together again for such a special afternoon.
Help Us Stock the BBCH Family Room These meals and snacks have become such an important support for parents navigating an unexpected and incredibly difficult hospital stay. One of our PICU nurse friends recently shared: “The parents have expressed how appreciative they are to have easy, readily available meal options — especially when being admitted in the late evening or the middle of the night after spending hours in the ER. Parents mentioned that it is a relief not to navigate such a large hospital to find the cafeteria or search for food. They were particularly grateful to have access to actual hot meals rather than just snacks or salads. It is great to hear that these options are making such a positive impact on our families during difficult times.” When families arrive unexpectedly, often without time to prepare, something as simple as a hot meal can bring comfort, relief, and one less thing to worry about. Here’s what we need right now: • Ravioli cups • Mac & cheese cups • Ramen • Granola bars • Cheez-Its / Goldfish • Cheese or peanut butter crackers • Jerky sticks If you’d like to help us continue stocking the BBCH Family Room with meals and hearty snacks for parents, please consider donating items or reaching out to support this initiative.
